[November 12 AFP] The Mars explorer of India under circumference on a global orbit succeeded in the orbital advanced rise before dawn on the 12th.
Indian Space Research Organization (Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO) announced.
The probe was hit by the engine trouble in advance of this temporarily.
The rocket was launched on ? the 5th and the “slingshot” technique exceptional as the method of the flight between planets is used for the Maas orbiter (Mars Orbiter) missions of India left for the trip for 11 months to Mars.
Since it does not have a large rocket to the extent that secession can be directly carried out from the gravity of ? earth, the spacecraft of India is scheduled to go around on the circumference orbit of the earth till the end of November, and to gain only the speed which can secede from the earth.
The spacecraft finished the 4th advanced rise and reached a height of 100,000 km from surface of the earth on ? the 12th.
Although the 4th advanced rise was carried out at the beginning on the 11th, the rocket engine caused the trouble and the body had shifted to the auto pilot.
?ISRO says that the trouble on the 11th does not become what bars the whole missions.
The Mars missions of ? India are low budgets very much.
Although the mission to Mars which the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) starts this month has attached the budget of 455 million dollars (about 45 billion yen), the missions of India are carried out for 1/6 or less [ the ] rupees [ 4,500 million ] (about 7 billion yen).
